Required use of personal data

When you visit our website, our web servers record the access data, i.e. the IP address of your access, the website from which you visit us, the web pages that you visit within our site, as well as the date and duration of your visit, by default. This data is recorded anonymously and analysed exclusively for statistical purposes.
freenet records and uses your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, i.e. only as far as it is necessary or legally required for the processing of the contract or your order, particularly for the delivery of services and for the processing of payments. Security systems are used to protect all data located and hosted (stored) on freenet servers against access by unauthorised persons. freenet IT security employees examine the effectiveness of these security systems on a daily basis. You have the right to obtain at any time the information concerning the recorded personal data relating to you. Furthermore, you have the right to have your data deleted at any time provided that it is not required for the proper fulfilment of the freenet service. As a general rule, we will delete data that is no longer needed. Cookies are used for some of the services offered by freenet – they only contain session information and no user data. Permanent cookies from third party providers are only used for statistical purposes. You can manage the use of cookies in your browser and disable them.
